Our mothers always seem to have the best recipes. Sharon Moore of Hico, the mother of one of our employees, submitted this delectable recipe for chocolate zucchini bread. What a treat!

1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup apple sauce
2 cups grated zucchini
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt

Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, and apple sauce. Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in Zucchini. Add all remaining ingredients and blend well.

Wiseman House Chocolate Punch
Water is a mainstay in Chef Kevin Wenzel's household. Saturday, though, is Family Fun Night, which necessitates a fun and refreshing drink. This is a light chocolate drink that cools the summer heat. Use your milk of choice (whole, skim, soy, etc.) and the vanilla ice cream of your choice (standard, lactose free, etc.). Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup Wiseman House Sipping Chocolate (Click Here to Order)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup hot water
2 quarts milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 quart club soda
8 ice cubes
Add 1 cup Wiseman House Sipping Chocolate, 1/2 cup sugar, & 2 teaspoons vanilla extract to blender. Microwave 1 cup of water until steaming (about 2 minutes). Add hot water to blender and blend on lowest setting until chocolate is completely melted. Add 1 cup milk and blend for 1 minute, adding the 8 ice cubes while blending. Pour this chocolate mixture and remaining milk into a large pitcher or punch bowl, stirring slightly. Add 1 quart vanilla ice cream and 1 quart club soda. Stir briefly and serve. This recipe serves about 12.
